The Ride

Seven hours, 350 miles, 6 bathroom stops, 1 gas/yuke stop and 2 breakdowns (Renee not the car). We had light rain until Columbus, then heavy rain the rest of the way. Accidents and rubbernecking at the pretty red and blue lights of the Ohio State Troopers along the route slowed us down more than the stops and rain.

I had dinner alone at Flannery's Pub. Renee was shot from the ride. She wanted me to bring her back a baked potato. No baked potatoes! An Irish pub without baked potatoes? She got the chicken tenders appetizers. They threw in french fries for free.

The internet hook-up works in the hotel room and Flannery's has free WiFi. so communications are up and running.

"We've" got pre-op scheduled for noon today.
